The wrestling world mourns the loss of another one of its fabled stars. Twenty-four hours after the news of legend Terry Funk passing away at 79. We collect ourselves once more to mourn the loss of Windham Rotunda, better known as Bray Wyatt.

A third-generation superstar in the WWE, his accolades include the WWE Championship, 2 WWE Univeral Championships, a two-time tag team champion, and WWE's Male Wrestler of the Year in 2019. Pro Wrestling Illustrated awarded Wyatt Match of the Year in 2014 with John Cena and, at his peak, was ranked No. 6 in the world in the same year.
Condolences from across the wrestling world, including Chris Jericho, The Rock, Alex Bliss, Matt Hardy, Miro, Big E, and countless others, are all reeling from this devastating news.
There are far better journalists, friends, family, and colleagues who can speak of the man who captivated audiences with his creative characters and electrifying entrances. In the coming days and weeks, we will learn more about what led to his passing.
Update : Windham passed away of a heart attack from complications of contracting COVID earlier this year

While some of the Fiend's matches are remembered for less than flattering reasons. Few can argue that this encounter with the leader of The Yes Movement was physical, brutal, and absolutely worth a championship war.

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt - Payback 2014
This match that earned both men Match of the Year in 2014 highlights the feud with John Cena. This battle put the wrestling world on notice. Bray Wyatt was a main-event player and was here to stay.
The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield

Outside of his single bouts, this is hands down the pinnacle of all of Bray Wyatt's matches. It also sadly contains another loss to the wrestling world too soon, Jon Huber, known as Luke Harper at the time. Huber was a very close friend to Windham and was deeply hurt at the time of his passing. In this match, there are four future world champions.
